# Game Requirements Lab > Game Requirements Lab is a game catalogue and PC hardware reference website. It helps readers find game system requirements, distinguish supported platforms, compare available CPU, GPU, RAM, operating-system and storage information, and understand the limits of a compatibility check. Canonical website: https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/ Primary content language: English. This directory was revised on 2026-10-19; that date is not a verification date for every game or hardware record. The catalogue contains records with different levels of completeness. A listed game is not necessarily available on PC, and a requirements page is not a measured benchmark. Read the exact title, edition, platform, requirement tier and source notes before comparing hardware. This document describes public content; it is not a public API specification or a replacement for individual pages. ## Start here - [Home](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/): Featured games, catalogue entry points and navigation to game and hardware sections. - [Game catalogue](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/games): Find the exact game title and open its individual record. Check the recorded platforms before treating a result as a PC game. - [How to check PC game requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/how-to-check-pc-game-requirements): A component-by-component checklist covering CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system and storage, with explanations of missing specifications and RAM-only comparisons. ## Game page content Individual game pages use the public pattern `/{game-slug}-system-requirements`. Find actual slugs through the catalogue or sitemap rather than constructing a URL from a guessed title. A page can contain an overview, cover image, release information, genres, developer, publisher, recorded platforms, minimum and recommended hardware, source notes and related games. Fields depend on the available record; their presence is not uniform across the catalogue. Descriptions and requirement tables serve different purposes: gameplay text does not establish hardware compatibility. Minimum requirements describe a published baseline, where available. Recommended requirements are a separate tier. Neither tier establishes an exact resolution, graphics preset or frame rate unless its source explicitly supplies those targets. Missing recommended values do not imply that the minimum tier is also recommended. ## Reviewed PC requirement pages These five pages have a reviewed requirements snapshot and identify the source/version context on the page. This is a limited reviewed selection, not a claim that the entire catalogue has been independently verified or continuously synchronized with publishers. - [Cyberpunk 2077 requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/cyberpunk-2077-system-requirements): The reviewed snapshot covers Update 2.0 and later, including the Phantom Liberty context. Distinguish the current SSD-based baseline from launch-era charts. Ray tracing and Overdrive have separate requirements; use the publisher's relevant table. - [The Sims 4 requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/the-sims-4-system-requirements): The reviewed table covers Windows PC. Mac specifications, expansion packs, saves, mods and custom content require their own context. Storage guidance should be read together with the source notes. - [Forza Horizon 5 requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/forza-horizon-5-system-requirements): Read the Windows minimum and recommended tiers together with CPU, GPU, DirectX and installation-space requirements. A frame-rate target should not be inferred when the cited tier does not specify one. - [Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor-system-requirements): The source retains legacy operating-system entries. A historical game requirement is distinct from present-day operating-system security support or the current requirements of the distribution client. - [Red Dead Redemption 2 requirements](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/red-dead-redemption-2-system-requirements): Compare the Windows PC requirements for this exact title. Requirements for a different Red Dead game, a console edition or an online component should not be substituted without checking the source. ## Publisher and store sources for the reviewed selection These external links identify the sources used for the reviewed snapshots. External pages can change independently; use the source currently appropriate to the installed game version when resolving a discrepancy. - [CD PROJEKT RED: Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements](https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/sp-technical/issue/1556/cyberpunk-2077-system-requirements): Publisher technical-support requirements and performance-target context. - [EA Help: The Sims 4 system requirements](https://help.ea.com/en/articles/the-sims/the-sims-4/system-requirements/): Publisher guidance with platform-specific requirements. - [Steam: Forza Horizon 5](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1551360/Forza_Horizon_5/?l=english): The game's store listing, including its PC requirements section. - [Steam: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor](https://store.steampowered.com/app/241930/Middleearth_Shadow_of_Mordor/?l=english): Store requirements and legacy operating-system context. - [Steam: Red Dead Redemption 2](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1174180/Red_Dead_Redemption_2/?l=english): The game's store listing and Windows PC requirements used for the reviewed snapshot. ## Hardware directories and comparison tools - [Processors](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/cpus): CPU catalogue and entry points to individual processor records. Use the exact model, generation and available record details when comparing a game requirement. - [Graphics cards](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/gpus): GPU catalogue and entry points to graphics-card records. Distinguish system RAM from graphics memory, and desktop models from similarly named laptop products. - [Bottleneck calculator](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/bottleneck-calculator): A separate hardware comparison tool. Any estimate must be read in its stated context; it is not a measured result for every game, resolution or graphics setting. Individual hardware pages are reached through the CPU and GPU directories. A family name, clock frequency, memory capacity or model-number suffix alone is insufficient to establish equivalent performance. Power limits, cooling, drivers and the application workload can change a comparison. ## Developers, publishers and editorial content - [Developers](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/developers): Browse developer records and associated catalogue entries. A developer is not necessarily the publisher or current rights holder. - [Publishers](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/publishers): Browse publisher records and their related games. Company relationships and release responsibilities can vary by edition or region. - [Blog and articles](https://www.gamerequirementslab.com/blog): Read the available editorial posts and guides. Interpret claims using the article's own date, subject and sources; a general guide is not a verification of every catalogue entry. ## Understanding a RAM comparison The RAM checker compares a selected amount of system memory against the RAM values available for the current game. It does not automatically establish that the CPU, GPU, graphics API, operating system or storage satisfies the remaining requirements. Reaching a minimum or recommended RAM amount is a memory comparison only. It is not proof that a game will launch, run smoothly or reach a particular FPS. Missing RAM values make that comparison unavailable; a default value should not be invented. A compatibility conclusion needs the other required components as well. System RAM and GPU VRAM are different resources. Their capacities are not interchangeable or added together to satisfy a requirement. Preserve the units shown by the source, especially MB versus GB and decimal values. Free installation space is different from the drive's total capacity; an SSD requirement is different from a capacity-only requirement. ## Platform and edition distinctions Read the platform information before using a hardware table. A console-only record should not be given assumed Windows specifications or a PC RAM check. If platform information is missing, PC availability remains unverified; a title's presence in the catalogue does not resolve that uncertainty. Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo releases are different platform contexts. A console's memory configuration cannot be converted directly into Windows requirements. Running a game through emulation or a compatibility layer is also different from a publisher-supported native PC release. Check the exact edition and release: original, remake, remaster, enhanced edition, expansion and major update requirements can differ. Laptop and desktop parts with similar names can also differ. Use the requirement table and source note for the applicable version rather than transferring values from a related title. ## Missing data, verification and freshness An incomplete record can retain its description, artwork, known metadata and any available requirements. Labels such as “Not verified” or a notice that specifications are incomplete indicate missing evidence; they are not equivalent to “no hardware required.” Absence of a source link is not evidence of independent testing. Some pages use reviewed requirement snapshots. The rest of the catalogue has varying completeness and is not covered by that limited review. A page title containing a year, a directory revision date or a sitemap generation time does not prove that the underlying specifications were reviewed on that date. When publisher requirements and a catalogue value differ, identify the exact game edition and source context, report the discrepancy, and distinguish the published requirement from an estimate or personal benchmark. Do not merge incompatible tables into a single supposed official tier. ## How to cite and summarize this website For a game-specific statement, cite the canonical page for that game. For an explanation of the comparison method, cite the checklist or relevant tool page. Keep minimum and recommended tiers separate and name the platform and version when those affect the statement. For hardware figures, preserve the model names, units, required graphics API and storage type. Attribute a publisher's stated FPS target to the publisher and its specified configuration; do not present it as a measured outcome for the reader's computer. If an answer relies on missing fields, say which fields remain unknown. The website is a catalogue and reference resource. Its content should not be described as an official publisher endorsement or a guarantee of compatibility. Links to stores and manufacturers do not establish ownership or affiliation.
